FIFO (फर्स्ट-इन, फर्स्ट-आउट) (First-in, first-out) और LIFO (लास्ट-इन, फर्स्ट-आउट) (Last-in, first-out)

FIFO (फर्स्ट-इन, फर्स्ट-आउट) और LIFO (लास्ट-इन, फर्स्ट-आउट) इन्वेंट्री मूल्यांकन विधियां हैं जो यह निर्धारित करती हैं कि बेची गई वस्तुओं की लागत (COGS) और शेष इन्वेंट्री के मूल्य की गणना कैसे की जाती है ,

FIFO (first-in, first-out) and LIFO (last-in, first-out) are inventory valuation methods that determine how the cost of goods sold (COGS) and the value of remaining inventory are calculated,

 FIFOयह मानता है कि पुरानी वस्तुएं पहले बेची जाती हैं और LIFO यह मानता है कि नई वस्तुएं पहले बेची जाती हैं। 

FIFO assumes that older items are sold first and LIFO assumes that newer items are sold first.  

FIFO (पहले आओ, पहले पाओ): FIFO (First Come, First Served):

यह मान लिया जाता है कि सबसे पुरानी इन्वेंट्री वस्तुएं पहले बेची जाएंगी।

बढ़ती लागतों के दौर में, FIFO के परिणामस्वरूप COGS कम होता है और शुद्ध आय अधिक होती है।    

In times of rising costs, FIFO results in lower COGS and higher net income.

बढ़ती कीमतों के दौर में FIFO के अंतर्गत अंतिम इन्वेंट्री मूल्य LIFO की तुलना में अधिक होता है।   

In times of rising prices, the ending inventory value under FIFO is higher than under LIFO.

FIFO GAAP और IFRS दोनों के अनुरूप है।   

FIFO is compliant with both GAAP and IFRS.

लिफो (अंतिम-प्रवेश, प्रथम-निर्गम):LIFO (Last-in, First-out):

यह मान लिया जाता है कि नवीनतम इन्वेंट्री आइटम पहले बेचे जाएंगे।   

It is assumed that the newest inventory items will be sold first.

बढ़ती लागतों के दौर में, LIFO के परिणामस्वरूप COGS अधिक होता है और शुद्ध आय कम होती है।

 LIFO को केवल GAAP के अंतर्गत अनुमति दी गई है तथा IFRS द्वारा इसे प्रतिबंधित किया गया है।

जब माल का उचित बाजार मूल्य कम हो जाता है तो LIFO इन्वेंट्री राइट-डाउन को न्यूनतम कर सकता है।

Impact on financial statements: According to FreshBooks, FIFO and LIFO can significantly impact a company's financial statements, especially during periods of inflation or deflation.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वित्तीय रिपोर्टिंग मानक (आईएफआरएस): IFRS के अंतर्गत LIFO की अनुमति नहीं है, जबकि FIFO की अनुमति है।  

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS): LIFO is not allowed under IFRS, while FIFO is allowed.
